Is your marine collagen hydrolysed?
It sure is. Collagen protein is broken down into smaller chains of amino acids (using water) so that our bodies can absorb it easier. This process of breaking down the protein is called hydrolysing. These smaller amino chains are called peptides and have a smaller molecular weight, meaning it’s easier for our body to absorb and ensures bioactivity.
What is the molecular weight of your marine collagen?
The average molecular weight of our marine collagen is approx. 2,000 g/mol.
Why should I choose marine collagen over bovine collagen?
Marine collagen has a smaller molecular weight compared to bovine and porcine. This makes it 1.5 times easier for our bodies to absorb. Better absorption contributes to better results.
